Observation Drawings
Statement
Observation drawings portraying two locations that inspire different feelings. Both of these drawings were created using graphite and ink pens. The image on the left inspires a feeling of comfort and safety and the image on the right inspires a feeling of motivation and activity. Both are located on the Ohio State campus. Among the many beautiful buildings, Orton Hall is conveniently located right off The Oval. The views from the front of the building are phenomenal during the fall semester giving the warm feeling of comfort and safety. The Rcap on the other hand, is fast paced and loud, inspiring the feeling of a rush and motivation.

Reflection
I am very happy with how this project came out. by utilizing multiple forms of media (pen and pencil) I was able to create depth in my piece. Looking back, I utilized all the tools I had before starting this program. If I was to do this project again, I would focus more on shading and blending details, photograph my piece better and elaborate more on my process post to be able to go back and think of my mindset when I initially made it.
