Year in Review

[ “Year in Review”  is where you should reflect on the past year and show how you have evolved as a person and as a student.  You may want to focus on your growth in a particular area (as a leader, scholar, researcher, etc.) or you may want to talk about your overall experience over the past year.  For more information, go to: http://honors-scholars.osu.edu/e-portfolio. Career

Artifacts

My photo project partner was Salor Mcfann her  interest in the arts is fashion and she majoring in Fashion and Retail Studies. She has  always wanted to do something in the fashion industry. Her style icon is Kim Kardashian post marriage to rapper Kanye West. She even said  that on career day in kindergarten, she dressed up as a model. After college she  hopes to move to L.A.   to become  a personal stylist to celebrities. She has already started making steps towards her career goal. She graduated high school a year early in order to take a gap year before college and in that gap year, she moved to New York City and interned with Victoria’s Secret in Manhattan. She also enjoys yoga and has been practicing yoga intermediately for a few years. Her favorite yoga pose is pigeon and is currently working on more balance poses. She would love to eventually get her yoga license.

Taking a picture of someone else was different, for me, from taking a picture of myself. I did not take a whole collection of photos and pick the best, I waited until I thought it was a good shot then took it. It was awkward to take, we spent a couple of minutes in silence as I tried to angle my phone to get a good picture. She chose what she would do in the picture and I think it reflected her two biggest interest, fashion and yoga, well.
