Hi friends, my name is Hannah!
I’m a fourth-year zoology student and this is my Ohio Plants course page. Although I am a zoology major, I believe it’s important to understand the whole ecosystem and how things interact with one another.
I’m excited to learn about our local plants, how to identify them, and what makes them unique. Hopefully, through reading my website and looking at the pictures I take, you can learn about them too.
This is my coat of arms for the class.
I have a bird to represent my personal interest in birds that I’ve had for a long time and birds are my favorite species of animal.
My motto is “To understand one thing, you must also understand the things around it.” Animals have a lot of interaction with the plants around them. Some species prefer certain types of trees as habit or eat certain types of plants, so it’s important to be able to recognize these plants to help find a location where you could locate certain species or to help identify a certain animal.
I’m from Circleville, OH, which is known for having the Pumpkin Show, so I drew what is supposed to be a pumpkin to represent it.
I’m working a Bachelor of Science in Zoology currently and want to peruse a job where I can work with wildlife and helping to teach the public about nature.
