CALL FOR PAPERS AND PARTICIPATION

Midwest Finance Association Annual Meeting
March 20-22, 1997
Ritz-Carlton in Kansas City


The Midwest Finance Association will hold its 46th Annual

Meeting at the Ritz-Carlton in Kansas City, Missouri on March

20-22, 1997. Research papers covering all aspects of finance

and financial education are eligible for inclusion in the

program. Panel discussions and tutorials devoted to

financial issues of current interest will also be included in

the program.

PAPER SUBMISSION PROCESS:

Those interested in presenting a paper at the conference

should submit five copies of either an abstract or completed

paper. The cover page should contain the title, name of the

author(s), addresses, telephone and fax numbers, and e-mail

addresses. It should also include a primary subject code and

a secondary subject code chosen from the list at the end of

this announcement. The code numbers you select will be used

to select reviewers for your paper or abstract. The first

page of the paper (or abstract) should include only the

title, not author names. Abstracts should describe the

purpose, related literature, research methodology, and

timetable for completion of the paper. Please submit papers

or abstracts to the contact below.

PANELS AND TUTORIALS SUBMISSION PROCESS:

Persons interested in organizing a panel or tutorial session

should send five copies of a proposal describing the topic,

session objective, format, and significance to MFA members.

Innovative topics or formats are especially encouraged.

Include your name, address, telephone and fax numbers, and

e-mail address. Please submit proposals to the contact below.

OTHER OPPORTUNITIES FOR PARTICIPATION:

If you would like to serve as a chairperson of a session or a

discussant of a paper, please send your name, address,

telephone and fax numbers, and e-mail address. You should

identify whether you are willing to serve as a chairperson,

discussant, or both. You should also include the primary code

and up to three secondary codes that best describe your

interest areas. Please send this information to the contact

below.
