Summerset Lovett is from Hawaii. She was on the OSU Womens Golf Team (see below for biography listed on team’s web page.) She graduated with a B.S. in Family Financial Management from The Ohio State University in 1999.

1996-97 (Junior): Played 15 rounds and had an average of
82.53…Best round of 76 at the Lady Northern (Sept.
20-22,1996)…Member of the 1997 Big Ten Championship
team…OSU Scholar-Athlete.



1995-96 (Sophomore): Finished the season fourth on the
team for stroke average with 81.4…Personal season best
round was a first-round 74 at the Liz Murphey Collegiate
Classic…Finished tied for eighth at the Liz Murphey
Intercollegiate with teammate Marisa Wilhelm…An
academic all-Big Ten selection and OSU Scholar-Athlete.



1994-95 (Freshman): Compiled an 80.8 stroke average in
33 rounds…Posted four top 10 finishes…Tied for eighth at
the Lady Spartan Invitational in September, helping the
team finish second…Turned in a seventh place result at the
Indiana Invitational in April to contribute to the Buckeyes’
second-place team finish…Tied for eighth at the Spring
Buckeye Invitational …Earned a tie for 10th at the Big Ten
Championships, helping Ohio State finish second as a
team…Named an OSU Scholar-Athlete…Received the New
Buckeye Award.



Prior to Ohio State: Earned four varsity letters at
University Laboratory High School…Won Hawaii’s state
junior championship in 1993 and was the runner-up in
1994…Served as team captain for the 1993-94
season…Received the Isobel Kandelin Female
Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Kapalua Golf Scholarships
in 1994.



Personal: Born July 10, 1976…Was a two-time state
qualifier in speech and debate…Earned a national gold key
award for her drawing and painting at the Hawaii
Regional-National Scholastic Art Exhibition in
1993-94…Majoring in financial planning and
investments…Interests include basketball and
volleyball…Daughter of Roy and Sandra Lovett.
