I think of all the G.O.A.L.S., I have achieved service engagement the most. This year I joined a fraternity organization that has the sole purpose of service, Alpha Phi Omega. It requires 15+ service hours every semester and I have been able to easily surpass this minimum each time. My favorite activity through Alpha Phi Omega is Homework Help. We partnered with group that helps Somalian immigrants and we spend time with the children every Monday and Wednesday to help them out with their school work and get to know them. I also did a Buck-I-Serv for my Spring Break in Vinton County, Ohio. It was honestly one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I got to learn so much about the struggles currently facing rural Ohio and what I can do to help.
