Hamilton County 4-H Partners with Cincinnati Parks Homeschool Camp

Hamilton County 4-H is excited to partner again with Cincinnati Parks on the Explore Nature Homeschool 3 Day Science Camp.

This years camp runs from Tuesday, August 27 – Thursday, August 29, 9:30am – 2:30pm. The camp is open to youth Ages 6 (with a first grade level)-12.

Set in the idyllic LaBoiteaux Woods Nature Center in College Hill (5400 Lanius Ln, 45224), campers will join the Naturalist staff for an intensive three day journey through large and small science at this beautiful preserve.

This summer is the fifth year for the camp, expect great science camp experiences with engaging activities during these themed days:

Tuesday: The Science of Big Trees

Wednesday: Incredible World of Insects

Thursday: The Micro World

Daily hikes outdoor field investigations, educational games, make and take projects, experiments and eye opening STEM activities provided by the Naturalists and OSU Extension Service 4 -H staff keep campers engaged and having fun.
