About Me

IMG_4764

Hello!  My name is Dean Haleem.  I was born in Ohio and went to Dublin City Schools K-12.  I didn’t really know what I wanted to do in life or what I would major in until my senior year at Dublin Coffman High School.  After a few weeks of the course, I knew Computer Science was the thing for me.

At OSU, I’d like to continue to achieve academically.  I’ve always set high goals for myself, so hopefully nothing will cause me to change that. Generally, I’d like to maintain a 3.7 or higher GPA.  This will be tough.  But as I said, I’ve always set high goals for myself.  In any CSE class I take throughout college, I’m more focused on what I learn versus how I do.  Of course, I’d love to maintain a high average, but becoming fluent in a language or mastering a concept is more important to me.  I’ve always loved math, and it’s never really posed any difficulty to me.  I hope this fact remains throughout my time at OSU, as I plan on achieving an A in those courses.  Much time will be spent in the library or in my room with my books, but with the intentions I have, that comes as no surprise.

I’m not sure where exactly my future lies.  I’d love to program video games, but who wouldn’t?  Security is another possibility.  Time will tell.
