Vanessa and Zach attended the Bladder Cancer Think Tank 2023 in Washington D.C.
We also attended the associated “Urothelial Carcinoma Across Species” Translational Summit put on by the CTSA One Health Alliance. Zach presented a poster evaluating effects of urine sample volume and DNA extraction method (with and without host cell/DNA removal) on urobiome profiles. Vanessa presented a talk about dogs as a translational model for microbiome research in bladder cancer.
We were joined at the summit by Dean Rustin Moore (left) and Duncan Alexander (right) – CVM Supporter, BCAN Board Member, and strong believer in the dog as a model for human medicine!
