On November 19th, I, along with two other members of my FYLI organization, went to an animal shelter called Colony Cats. While we were there we cleaned up all the rooms that the cats stayed in, then I went next door where the sick cats and very young kittens and their mothers stayed. With those cats I cleaned all their cages and gave them new food and water. This artifact is the logo to the shelter and it is important to me because, I like to remember where I have volunteered in the past and because I enjoyed it while helping, I may want to volunteer there in the future and this way I can easily find which shelter it was that I helped out at.
