About Me

I was born and raised in Hamilton, Ohio where I attended high school at Hamilton High. I became involved in many volunteer groups such as National Honor Society and the Youth Philanthropy Committee, all of which have shaped me into how I see myself and the world. Through volunteering opportunities, my vision of the world has been altered in many ways, most of which include a humbling experience. Some other leadership experiences include playing Varsity soccer and being the Social Media Coordinator for my high school’s student government.

As I previously discussed, I have been molded by my experiences in high school and life. Some traits that I and others would use to describe who I am as a person include: creative, optimistic, diligent, and determined. During my time at Ohio State, I plan to major in Civil Engineering with a possible minor in Architectural Studies. I am hoping to be involved in The Society of Women in Engineering and am currently looking for volunteering groups to involve myself in. I am keeping an open mind about applying to graduate school, but I am currently unsure about my plans after undergrad. However, my main interest in becoming a Civil Engineer is to innovate our everyday technology and transportation systems to become more sustainable for our environment.
