Hello! My name is Matthew Gutterman, and I am a first year in the College of Engineering at The Ohio State University. I am from a near north suburb of Chicago, and I worked at the Feinburg School of Medicine over the summer. I am on the Biomedical Engineering path, and plan to go to med school following my undergraduate degree. I am a relatively outgoing person, but I like to think of myself as a pretty ambitious person. I work as hard as I can to succeed in everything that I do, which is one of the reasons I chose to go to Ohio State. I am very passionate about sports, but I always put school and work first.

My top 5 strengths are futuristic, achiever, competition, strategic, and arranger. I can see why all of these are in my top five, due to the fact that they describe me well. I constantly find myself looking into the future and trying to plan out my life. Additionally, I always due my best to not just meet expectations, but exceed them. I am very competitive and always try my hardest in everything I do. I think I am strategic because for every new problem I plan out what I will do in an organized way. Lastly, I think I got arranger due to the fact that I like to make things organized and to keep everything in order.
