My name is Isaac Guo and I’m an international student from China. I like to play badminton and table tennis. Chinese food is my favorite food and I always go to that restaurant located at high street, which name is Moy’s Chinese Restaurant. In my spare time I will read novels and play board games with my roommate. I hope I can make more friends in college and I also like to try some fresh things. Nice to meet you guys in Ohio State and hope you will have a good time with me.

I have been study in America for two years as a high school student. I learned at Clearwater which is a county in FL. There has totally different weather to OH, it is really hot during whole year and I can go to beach easily because my hostfamily’s house is close to the sea. Shenzhen is my hometown, which has a similar weather with FL. So OH is a really cold place for me. But I will try to adapt and become a buckeye.

The reason why I want to study in OSU is because OSU is one of the best public schools and OSU also has some really good facilities and a super big campus. I think a huge campus is good for me to make friends with American people and there are also some Chinese students to help each other. In academics, I know that OSU has a high rank on mathematic and my favor major is mathematic and biology. As a result, I choose OSU not University of Minnesota. I think I will have a fulfilling life in next 4 years or even longer at OSU.
