Hi! My name is Srinija Guntupalli and I’m from Pickerington, Ohio. I am a freshman at The Ohio State University majoring in Biology and minoring in Global Public Health. Throughout high school, I was involved in Key Club, Science Olympiad, student council, and marching band. I am excited to be apart of health science scholars to learn more about the opportunities available in the health care field. Right now, I am planning on going to Optometry school and specializing in Pediatric Optometry. In my free time, I love to be outdoors. I enjoy bike riding, taking care of my garden, and reading. I am excited to see what my next few years at OSU has in store for me!

G.O.A.L.S.: Global Awareness, Original Inquiry, Academic Enrichment, Leadership Development, and Service Engagement.
L: This year I got elected as Vice President in UNICEF OSU for the upcoming school year. I hope to develop my leadership skills through this and help the club recruit new members. I want to use my position to make members feel welcomed so we can work together to advocate for change.
S: This year I joined a service fraternity that connected me to a various organizations around Columbus. It was a great way to be active in the community and meet new people. I was able to volunteer at a local community garden, blood drives, and much more.
I volunteered at Nationwide Children’s Hospital at the Hematology and Oncology clinic for my service project. I was able to offer support to the children going through treatments. It was really nice to form connections with the children and their parents. I did a variety of tasks but my day mainly consisted of playing with children. I had a really great time and I look forward to continue volunteering there.
