1.Operations Mangement
I think this job is suited for me but it lacks something, which is very important for me, and I think it is the technology. As my dream job is a kind of job which can help me to design something by myself and with the others help as well. But for this job, it seems that it didn’t care too much about the revolution of technique, and only cares about the operation system is works well. And I think this job also has some overlap with my dream job, which could work with someone you want to work with, but it doesn’t have too much of the chance to solve the problems with others and lead the person to do the revolutionary things. About the salary, I also don’t satisfied with that, as if I become a programmer, it will more salary than that, which is a more good choice for me, as you can use the technique to change the world, instead just to take care about the stability of a team system. In conclusion, I am not totally satisfied with this job, as it lacks the creativity and thought it might have some impact to the company’s team, as it can manage the teams to work for the right direction, it doesn’t have the impact to “lead” the team or whole company to do the things which can change the world, and maybe the creativity and the meaning is two of the most important characteristic when I am choosing a job, so if I have a chance to do some job like that, maybe I will work at that place for a while, as I can learn some communication skills, and get familiar with the strategies of management, but I will not choose it as the best job for me.
2. Business Development Manager Compared with this job with the last one it gave me, this job seems more suitable for me, as it can give me enough opportunities to make some change in the team or the company that I am working for. But it also not perfectly suitable for me, as all of the work is about the business, instead of changing the world, though I can get enough money from this job, it means nothing for me, as in my opinion, the business world is not have such significant impact to the world. Though the money is very important for a company, but for a tech company that I want to join, the money don’t have such big impact to a company, as most of these companies have enough money to do the things that they want, the things that they don’t have is the ideas and the professional person who can make this idea become reality. Business development managers don’t have much power to do that. For example, after the Apple fired the Steve Jobs, it decreased significantly, as the person who is the CEO of that time in Apple didn’t have the sense of creativity, and he cares too much about the money so that he forgot the Apple is a tech company, the most important thing for a company is to change the world by the technology instead by money, and if you want to change the world by money, you can go to the bank or bourse.
