About Me

I’m Megan Gregory and I am a freshman at the Ohio State University. I am from Dublin, Ohio and come from a family with three sisters. The value that I find most important in myself and in others is perspective. I believe its vital to understand the other person’s perspective whether or not you agree with them in all scenarios. I am currently undecided on my major, and my goal for college is to discover a major that will lead me to a career that I’m excited about. In terms of my career, I believe that my previous jobs have had some impact on what I am leaning towards. I have had various high school jobs- such as a hostess/waitress, I worked at a floral shop, I babysat, and I was a student. Of all my jobs the one I enjoyed the most was being a student and studying. Because of this, I’m leaning towards becoming a professor so I can also be able to do research in my intended field. I just need to discover my intended field. My interests include global affairs, studying religions and hiking with my dog. My strengths include time management and organization. I can never get my work done if I’m not first organized and have my ducks in a row. In the future, I intend to join the Peace Corps after my undergraduate and then continuing into graduate school after that.

My Planner

img_2933This artifact is my planner. It not only organizes my life but reminds me of what I have achieved thus far. For each week I have a post it note on the page to say what I did outside of academics, such as working out or going to club meetings. I do this to make sure I am staying involved and keeping up with my health. On the actual pages I write down what I need to do for that day or week. Once I finish each thing, I cross it off. It helps me immensely and I quite honestly don’t know what I would do without it.
