Some of our most recognized horticultural “facts” are in fact based on fallacies and falsehoods. Whether it’s trees, turf, or pesticide use, this presentation pulls the curtain back on some of our most common horticultural myth-conceptions including those based on bad science (B.S.). As Carl Sagan said, “We live in a society exquisitely dependent on science and technology, in which hardly anyone knows anything about science and technology.”
