About Me

photo

My name is Thomas Graham and I am a first year student in the Politics, Society, and Law Scholars Program. Throughout high school I discovered my passion for politics through volunteering on President  Obama’s reelection campaign in 2012 and participating in four years of public forum debate. Debate accounts for much of my academic success thus far, as I qualified to the national tournament twice, taking 14th place my senior year. This success in debate shaped my academic goals for OSU, which include earning a degree in both political science and economics while also taking an active role in the PSL Scholars Program. I hope to utilize the education I receive at OSU to influence policy making in the state of Ohio and the United States as a whole.
