Our group started out by having the idea of creating an app that could allow a consumer to fully customize a house. We would come up with base designs of the house, and they would put in all the furnishings and colors that they would want in their house. After some discussion, we decided to pivot our idea to being able to customize a room instead of an entire house. We thought it would be more realistic and widely used if we made it to only customize a single room. We handed out surveys to verify our market, and they said they would rather use a website instead of an app. Along with that they said they would love to have the ability to customize a room from the internet, and be able to transfer it to their home.

About Me

I am Austin Gossett and I’m an incoming freshman from Lewis Center, Ohio. I have recently joined the ICE scholars program for a multitude of reasons. For one, I love the idea of taking an idea and working with a team to maybe one day create a business out of it. The biggest and brightest companies of today were once just ideas. To become an entrepreneur is a dream of mine, but with saying that, I’m am content if I only become a part of something bigger. It’s the final destination that matters, and everyone on the team striving to reach one common goal. I am very excited to meet other future entrepreneurs who have big dreams, and are aspiring to be the best that they can be.
