My name is Rachel Goldstein and I am a current first year at The Ohio State University studying Marketing with minors in Communications and Studio Art. I grew up in Mentor, Ohio which is a city right on Lake Erie and about 20-25 minutes outside of Cleveland on the east side. In high school I was involved in fine art, theatre, DECA, a 2-year career technical program in Marketing and Entrepreneurship, and worked at a car dealership. In my free time, I spend time with my friends and family or I will paint, watch Netflix, or read.
I came to Ohio State for it’s diversity and opportunity and have taken advantage of both. Since coming to Ohio State, aside from being in Business Scholars, I have joined the professional business fraternity Phi Chi Theta, and have started working an internship at The Owens Group. I hope to one day use my degrees to market from a nonprofit or arts related group/company and to work hands on with people and in the creative process.
