My name is Alexandra Gluntz and I am a first semester freshman in the Undecided Engineering Pre-major at The Ohio State University. I am from Rocky River, Ohio in the Cleveland area and attended Rocky River High School, graduating with a 4.7 gpa and on the High Honor Roll. I am excited to explore the different specialties of engineering here at OSU to figure out my passion and the path I will go down. I definitely plan to graduate here from Ohio State with an engineering degree but I am still undecided on whether I will continue on with graduate school.
Already, I am involved in a few clubs and activities and may join more as the semester moves on. I am a part of the Sigma Epsilon Phi group on campus which is a Greek Orthodox co-ed fraternity/sorority. We focus a lot on faith, fellowship, and service to others. Additionally, I am a part of the Orthodox Christian Fellowship, which is another organization that explores faith and service to others. As a part of these groups, I have a high requirement of service hours and am excited for the chance to do things for others who are less fortunate or need my help. I am also planning to join the Women in Engineering group, WiE, on campus because I think it is very important that women support and stick up for each other in an industry like engineering that is dominantly male lead.
