American Burn Association – International Outreach Forum

The annual American Burn Association (ABA) conference will be held in Las Vegas on May 2nd – 6th. Part of the conference includes an International Outreach Forum (Friday, May 6th @ 2pm), which brings together surgeons who are facilitating clinical programs with a global reach.

One of GBI’s partners, the Canadian Network for International Surgery (CNIS) will be at the forum.

Dr. Sarvesh Logsetty, a key developer of the Essential Burn Management (EBM) program – a clinical program developed by CNIS, is collaborating with GBI to determine how we can work towards achieving two of the five key GBI objectives:

• Increased number of physicians and support staff trained to respond to burn injuries;
• Increased number of physicians and support staff trained to provide aftercare.
