WORK EXPERIENCE

Charley’s Philly Cheesesteaks (September 2019 – Present)

  • Grill variations of meats and veggies to place on a toasted bun which is then topped with the customers’ choice of toppings
  • Greet and take the orders of every guest as if we had been friends for ages to make sure they receive quality service
  • Interact with many different people ranging in age, background experience, and preferences

Residence Life in The Ohio State University, Office Assistant (October 2018 – October 2019)

  • Processed and logged 30+ packages per shift and organizes student data in order to keep records safe and manageable
  • Assisted Resident Advisors, Managers, and Hall Directors in making the dorm the safest and most organized place possible
  • Issued necessary resources, such as kitchen supplies, cleaning tools, and mail, to students in the dorm when requested
  • Directed and assisted guests and students toward correct areas and through protocol to instill a welcoming dorm atmosphere

The iBELIEVE Foundation, Intern (August 2018 – August 2019) 

  • Acted as 1 of 3 undergraduate interns asked to help the office to promote iBELIEVE and advocate for the youth of Appalachia
  • Created advertisements for workshops, summits, and conferences across 9 college campuses in 5 different states
  • Formated and designed separate bi-monthly newsletters for over 1000 delegates, sponsors, alumni, and staff
  • Used Canva, MailChimp, Wufoo, and other software to organize data gatherings and to create advertisements or newsletters

Toys R Us, Sales Associate (August 2016 – June 2018)

  • Achieved the status of top Sales Associate in 2017 as a part-time employee across a team of 40 full- and part-time associates
  • Completed 100+ transactions per shift, averaging upwards of 5 Toys R Us credit card applications per shift
  • Earned prestigious manager numbers–given to 9 employees–and used them to assist coworkers in overrides for transactions
  • Trained 15 new employees each year to prepare for the intense holiday season which resulted in an increased sales rate

Phi Alpha Delta (Pre-Law), General Member (August 2019 – Present)

  • Connects with like-minded students with a similar goal of achieving high scores on the LSAT and of preparing for the future

Delight Ministries OSU, Leader of Female Empowerment (August 2019 – Present)

  • Facilitates worship, engages campus, and meets to discuss studies with the many diverse women of the new group

Mount Society Leadership Scholars, Member, and Mentor (August 2018-Present)

  • Leads and participates in at least one service event per month where the mission is to combat a struggling area in the city

The iBELIEVE Foundation, Staff Member (Sept 2016-Present)

  • Promotes and inspires growth of leadership in councils of 15 high school students at 3 week-long workshops each summer
  • Impacts nearly 1000 students every summer with energetic and passionate teams that teach networking and communication
  • Balances and manages finances, handling up to $2000 each semester for the on-campus cohort of the foundation

BuckeyeThon, General Body Member and Morale Captain (October 2018- August 2019)

  • Plans events to raise money for the philanthropic cause to find a cure for pediatric cancer; last year, $1.7 million was raised
  • Works to engage involvement on The Ohio State University’s campus for a goal to raise at least $250 each towards the cause
  • Energizes participants at the end-of-year fundraising celebration for the kids by leading dances and encouraging each person

SERVICE

The iBELIEVE Foundation Sept. 2016 – Present

  • Facilitate summer leadership workshops to teach Appalachian students necessary communicative & leadership skills
  • Offer 400+ hours per year to provide Appalachian youth with opportunities otherwise not offered to them in their region
