G.O.A.L.S.

  • Global Awareness: I am excited to further my capabilities in this aspect of leadership by travelling to the United Kingdom this summer to participate in Oxford’s study abroad program for pre-law students. There I will learn about governments with different and also similar legal systems so I will best be able to work with other nations as well as bring awareness to the different struggles in other countries.
  • Original Inquiry: I tend to feel like an unoriginal person because I like sticking to the rules so much. However, I’ve learned that having original inquiry is about a natural curiosity to learn each day, not about if someone is creative or is not. Therefore, I continue to have original inquiry in every day because I am a life-long learned who asks questions every day. I never stop until I find the answers.
  • Academic Enrichment: I strive to keep my GPA at the highest it can be. I keep my goals high and I take classes that challenge me. I have dreams that I plan to fulfill. I plan to take 15-18 credit hours a semester, keep a 4.0 GPA, and go to law school on scholarship.
  • Leadership Development: I have a leadership studies minor and I take a class for that each semester. These classes inspire and motivate me daily. I plan to continue to learn from my leadership and charcter professors because that class makes me focus on the internal aspects of leadership, such as making sure I am able to be my best in order to best help others.
  • Service Engagement: I give to the community in any way that I can. I work each week in a local food pantry in order to be a part of the community and get to know who is a part of the world I am in as well. My life goal is to help others and right now, in college, is the perfect time to do so.
