3 Course Takeaways

When I first started this class I didn’t know what it was going to be like. I wasn’t nervous but I also wasn’t excited. In the past I had taken some online courses and I thought it was going to be like that. It was a good wake up call because I realized my study habits were not where they should be. This class allowed me to take a closer look and examine myself. Ultimately I was able to change my habits around thanks to this class.

The first take away was make a to do list. If you write down every single event that you have that week it is easier to see it all laid out. You will know exactly what you have and nothing will be a surprise later on in that week. This has helped me a ton because I started to recognize what I was doing and I immediately changed it around. Study scheduler was the best option for me to choose when I started to write down everything in advance.

Another take away from this class is to make a plan. If you plan out your week there is no reason to not get any homework or other assignments done. Making a plan is the easiest way to not procrastinate and become jammed at the end of the week. One big thing though is you have to stick to your plan and complete it. At the end of the week after all of your homework is done is the best feeling and I’ve been experiencing that feeling since I have started this class.

Lastly the one thing to take away from this class is have a environment around you that allows you to succeed in all aspects of school. I always try to surround myself with a couple of good friends to study with to make it more fun. If I have a loud group I can’t study. If you have the right environment to study then there is no stopping you from reaching your goals.

 

Class Summary

This class has been very helpful during my academic carer by helping me organize my stuff better. The three take aways I took away from this class is have a plan, do everything to your strengths, and study a little bit every day. If you do not have a plan there then is no way you will be able to achieve your goals. Having a plan is the easiest way to know your whole entire schedule and what you have coming up. Do everything to your strengths means always put yourself in the strongest position possible to succeed. There is no reason to hinder yourself from reaching your goals. If you study a little bit each night then you will be able to retain more knowledge and be as prepared for it as you can. Also it has been proven to help more students to study every night than cram at the last minute. Then again, you have to do stuff to your strengths. Find what works best for you and you will never not succeed in the end.
