ghost flower 

is the online literary journal for The Ohio State University, Newark.

We seek to publish exciting new work — poems, short fiction, photos, sound art, creative non-fiction and other appropriate artwork. We particularly value work with a strong voice, which also pays attention to form / style and addresses real social, political, and personal issues.

Submission Guidelines:

please submit:

• Poetry:
  • no more than 5 poems (equalling no more than 5 pages)
  • Word or PDF files
• Short Fiction and Creative Non-Fiction:
  • 1000 words or less
  • Word or PDF files
• photos / drawings / other visual art:
  • as jpeg files
  • no more than 5 photos or artworks
• audio art:
  • mp3 files
  • no more than 5 minutes in length

Please remove your name or any other identifiable information from your submissions. Your work will be evaluated first by individual editorial groups and then by the entire editorial board.
