Unfortunately, it was impossible for me to go with the rest of the group. My schedule conflicted a too much, and I did not want to be the one to hold the group back from getting a grade. So once I got out of my physics lab, I asked Jamie to walk with me and tell me about Kafe Kerouac and what the group thought about it. While this action had nowhere near the effect that being with the group, it does help me to know that my group tried their hardest to accommodate to me and my schedule. Kafe Kerouac was a quaint place just north of Lane Ave on High St. It seemed like one of the hot spots for upperclassmen to get there work done in groups of two or three. Next time, the group will probably not try to procrastinate as much, and really try to figure a time to do it all together. I would recommend this place to someone who likes to study in a small setting. Most people like quiet settings so the cafe isn’t very different in that aspect, but it is much quieter.

On Sunday, me, Andrew, and Zach traveled a little less than a half mile north up High Street to a Mexican Restaurant named Cazuelas. We decided we wanted to watch football together but knew that Buffalo Wild Wings was a little too pricey for college students, so we tried something new with Cazuelas and knew that we could get the assignment done as well when going there. The food was pretty good, and the service was not bad either. It was a good get away from the normal campus food and easy way for the three of us to sit down with each other when it doesn’t have to do with school. I’d recommend Cazuela’s to anyone who wants to try a new restaurant or is interested in Mexican food. It is a classic Mexican restaurant and is family owned.
