The manufactured cocaine is then packaged and ready to ship across the world.  Majority of the cocaine in the U.S. comes through Mexico. South American drug cartels hire Mexican smugglers to get the cocaine across the border. Smugglers typically hide the cocaine bricks in hidden compartments in there vehicles. Smugglers go to great extremes to hide their product. If they get by security, they bring their product to drug lords in the U.S.

Environmental Issue

Cocaine travels thousands of miles across the globe to reach its final destination. Transporting the product results in high level of green house gas emissions. These emissions are believed to be the main reason for global warming and damaging of the ozone layer.
