The 9th Gateway NMR Conference is dedicated to the inauguration of the first 1.2 GHz NMR spectrometer in the United States. The 1.2 GHz NMR spectrometer, which has been funded by the US National Science Foundation and manufactured by Bruker Biospin was delivered in the Fall of 2023 and commissioned in the Summer of 2024. This Gateway Conference will bring together scientists from the traditional Gateway NMR community and from across North America to celebrate this milestone, discuss topical scientific achievement by NMR spectroscopy and related fields, and develop a vision for the opportunities opened by ultrahigh-field NMR in areas as diverse as structural biology, chemistry, materials science, and biomedicine.
