Welcome to GARDEN STARK, a resource site for Stark County residents who are interested in food gardening and growing their own food provided by the Ohio State University (OSU) Extension office of Stark County and the Stark County Master Gardener Volunteer Program.  This site contains resources, services, educational programs, publications and more for you to plant, maintain and harvest a home, container or community plot garden all in one location!

GARDEN STARK also serves as home to the Stark County Gardening Network.  This newly created network provides a way for all types of gardeners, from enthusiast to expert, to stay informed, engaged and connected with our Stark County gardening community and reputable resources, educational programs, services, and public events.

We’d appreciate your participation in a short survey on your gardening needs and experiences.  CLICK HERE to complete the survey. Completing the survey helps us to identify your needs and interests so that we can design and deliver educational programs that are of interest and value to you, and GROW our communities’ food gardening network.
