Visit these 5 virtual museums without leaving home.  Visit links to Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, European Virtual Museum, Louvre, Vatican Museums, and Toyota Automobile Museum.  There are images of the museums and links to the viral tours.  these are a great experience to see the art in context and experience a large museum tour for free and from home.

This is great website is a thorough guide for students to read and see art that covers most of the eras in art history.  It includes art history theory, study tips, quotes, periods of art, museums and galleries, artworks and artists.
