Artifacts

These pictures are from Bid Day 2017 when I received a bid to my sorority Alpha Epsilon Phi. There’s no better feeling than running down High Street to my new home with my future sisters. I was immediately welcomed into the sorority by the actives and I felt like I was already at home. Choosing to rush and accept a bid to a sorority was one of the best decisions I made freshman year and I have made so many close friends through Greek life.

About Me

My name is Erica Furman and I am a first year student majoring in Accounting. I’m from Long Island, New York but I currently reside in Florida when class is not in session. I am a member of the Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority at Ohio State and I am very passionate about our philanthropy work we do, my favorite being Phi trotters, our annual basketball tournament.

I chose to come to Ohio State because I always saw myself going out of state for school and I wanted to attend a highly spirited school with a top-ranked business school. I love attending OSU football games with my friends and cheering on the Buckeyes.

During my freshman year I chose to get involved with Greek Life and Buckeyethon. I am very passionate about these organizations and I could not imagine my freshman year without them.
