- Recently collaborated with state and national leaders in the counseling profession to lobby on Capitol Hill for Medicare reimbursement and Veterans Administration hiring of Licensed Professional Counselors
- Served as primary spokesperson for Medicare advocacy during meeting between Ohio counselors and legislative aide to Senator Rob Portman
- Completed extensive research into the Medicare program and its impact on mental health services for older adults
- Presented on Medicare advocacy at 2014 AADA Conference and 2015 ACES Conference
