Major Research Topics

1. Investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying the selective cellular and regional vulnerability in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and AD related dementias (ADRD).

2. Molecular profiling of human postmortem brains with AD and ADRD using multi-omics approaches.

3. Cell-cell communications in AD and ADRD.

4. Study the pathogenesis of AD and ADRD using human iPSC-derived neural organoid model with disease mutations.

5. Lipid metabolism in AD and ADRD.

6. The relationships between traumatic brain injury and AD and ADRD.
