Postdoctoral Scholar (R92861) – The successful candidate will support research investigating the efficiency and efficacy of intelligent sprayer technology in controlling apple diseases and insect pests. They will be responsible for collating multi-state data from a four-year project, analyzing interpreting data, and preparing manuscripts. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate with team members from out-of-state and in-state. Work experience – PhD; discipline plant pathology or related field; knowledge of R or another comparable statistical software; excellent oral and written communication skills. Student Assistant (R89103) – The successful candidate will support orchard and vineyard, greenhouse, and laboratory research in the fruit pathology program in the Department of Plant Pathology at The Ohio State University (Wooster campus). Current projects include disease management in chestnut, apple, and strawberry, chestnut grafting, and plant and human pathogen risk mitigation in hydroponic leafy greens.
