Women’s health is a topic that each of our group members are passionate about, so we were naturally drawn to a disease process of that nature. Endometriosis in particular is such a common source of frustration and pain for young women that we were motivated to dive in and learn more. Its varied manifestations and pathological theories are both interesting and thought provoking; we are confident that we will be able to carry this information with us into clinical practice.
