Anna Freeman is a Ph.D. student in the Arts Administration, Education, and Policy program. She graduated with her BA in history and a minor in arts management from the College of Charleston. In 2018, Anna graduated from Florida State University with an MA in Art History, specializing in Museum and Cultural Heritage Studies. Throughout grad school and afterward, Anna worked as an assistant researcher for the Waging Peace! project, an urban arts project developed by and in collaboration with art teachers from the greater Tallahassee area. Anna and her colleagues presented this project at FSU’s Art and Design Education for Social Justice Symposium and the 2019 NAEA Conference.
