About Me

Hello, my name is Jimmy Franklin and I am from Cincinnati, Ohio. I am currently a first year International Business student at The Ohio State University. Living in Taylor Tower, I thrive academically in the focus an honors dorm provides, while flourishing interpersonally within the rich community established in my room, floor, building, and university. Community has guided my life and purpose, developing my passion to get involved and invest deeply in those around me. These values, turned actions, resulted in my founding and membership of the Theatre Xavier Student Board, being elected President of Vocal Ensembles at St. Xavier High School, performing numerous lead roles and solos on stage, and volunteering to build relationships with artists with disabilities at Visionaries and Voices. My career goal is t0 utilize what I learn and share it with as many communities and individuals as I can, whether they be local or international. I look forward to expanding my experience and learning through OSU’s rigorous coursework and diverse cultural opportunities.
