My Artifact

My artifact is my ticket to the Ohio State vs. Michigan game on November 24, 2018. Coming into Ohio State I had never been to the stadium for a game but always wanted to go. The first game day against Oregon State was an unreal experience because of the crazy fans and the all around camaraderie. One of my favorite games throughout the year was the Penn State game when everyone was out in the North Campus courtyard watching the game and at the end everyone going nuts, strangers hugging strangers. Although these games provided me with quite the adrenaline rush, nothing compares to the game against TTUN. The noise in the stadium was the loudest I have heard any one body of people get and I can say I was part of it. Going to the stadium every other Saturday for a game and sitting in 36B will be a memory I will never forget. The times I shared with my friends cheering on the Buckeyes will never leave me and will forever look forward to every game at The Shoe.

About Me

My name is Michael Fox and I am a 1st year studying Finance here at The Ohio State University. I was born in raised in Cleveland, Ohio where I gained my passion for all things Cleveland sports. Growing up rooting for the Buckeyes on Saturdays I never imagined myself here but after learning about the atmosphere, opportunities, and high academic success I instantly fell in love with it. My strong-suit is mathematics and dealing with numbers and this can be shown in my passion for business analysis and accounting. Since coming to campus I have joined Empower Sports where we take a hour out of our Sunday to spend time with participants who have autism playing a variety of sports. This experience is so much fun and the relationship you create with your new friend is like no other. I am also a lifeguard at the pool and looking to gain the leadership position of Crew Chief in the coming future. Although I have had limited time here at The Ohio State University, I feel I am truly getting as much as I can out of this wonderful university and plan to continue this in the coming future.
