About Me

Hello! My name is Hannah Fouts and I am a senior pursuing a degree in Computer Science and Engineering. I am also working on a research project through the Department of Engineering Education. I am a part of the Eminence Fellows Program as well as the Stamps Scholars Program here at the Ohio State University.

I am currently a member of the OSU Mock Trial team which is ranked 8th in the nation. Collegiate mock trial gives students the opportunity to construct legal arguments and to learn about case law, rules of evidence, and procedural standards resulting in a real-life understanding of legal procedure. My experience on the team has sparked my interest in pursuing a law degree after graduating from OSU.

In order to pursue my interest in both computer science and law, I became an intern at Cyberthentic. Cyberthentic is a cybersecurity start-up company that is working on a product to eliminate email phishing attacks that pose a threat to virtually any company or organization worldwide. Through my internship, I not only learned more about intellectual property and produced product explainer videos, but I also gained development experience with Amazon Web Services such as the API Gateway, AWS Lambda, and DynamoDB.

If you have any questions about anything that I am involved in, feel free to send me an email!
