Artifacts

[Artifacts are the items you consider to be representative of your academic interests and achievements. For each entry, include both an artifact and a detailed annotation.  An annotation includes both a description of the artifact and a reflection on why it is important to you, what you learned, and what it means for your next steps.  For more guidance on using your ePortfolio, including questions and prompts that will help you get started, please visit the Honors & Scholars ePortfolio course in Carmen. About Me

Hello everyone, my name is Emma Fore! I am pursuing a mathematics major on the math education track with a minor in French in the College of Arts and Sciences. I am also a part of the Health Sciences Scholars Program. I have always loved mathematics and science, so I am excited to be working as a research assistant in the Institute for Behavioral Medicine Research. I plan to be involved with Women in Mathematics and Buckeyethon to improve my leadership skills and connect with career resources.

I took part in the Rotary Youth Exchange program and lived in Belgium for eleven months to learn French. While living abroad, I learned how to be independent and step out of my comfort zone. My time in Belgium also led me to pursue teaching, allowing me to live and work around the world.

I cannot wait to get to know Ohio State more and more and take advantage of all that this university has to offer, and hopefully finally understand the rules of football. Go Bucks!
