First off, make sure you are signed up to compete in the Food Waste Challenge at this link! To participate in a challenge, go to the Challenges tab and follow the instructions listed for that particular challenge. Challenges can be done at any time throughout the overall Food Waste Challenge. For example, you can submit the Day 1 Challenge any time until the Food Waste Challenge ends (April 22), not just on the day it was posted (April 11).
