Ohio Sustainable Business Council (osbcouncil.org) 

OSBC brings together Ohio businesses and policy makers in order to create better communication, cooperation, and insight into making programs and decisions to create a sustainable economy. Businesses can register for membership and have access to resources, policy makers, public engagement opportunities, and support by joining a community that values food insecurity, food waste, and sustainability and creating a space and economy that will advocate for sustainable change.

Stoddard Avenue Garden

SACG is a community garden with volunteering opportunities in gardening, harvesting food, and donating to food pantries that are committed to feeding low-income communities and people experiencing homelessness. They have their  food pantry plots at 451 Stoddard Avenue and work with the community & pantries to deliver donated produce. They manage food waste by providing a way to give back to our community, while keeping Columbus green as well as plans and programs for community integration, food security, and garden beautification!

Save More Than Food (savemorethanfood.org)

An initiative that was formed by The Central Ohio Food Waste Initiative and the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO) in order to increase awareness and action surrounding food waste.

Local Food Action Plan for the City of Columbus & Franklin County, Ohio is a plan centered around creating a “fair and sustainable food system that benefits our economy, our environment and all people” in order to create a community that has a better relationship with food.

Founded in 2016, Innovate Organics Recycling has a mission of making Central Ohio a Zero Food Waste region and provides Central Ohio communities, businesses, etc. the tools and knowledge to reduce food waste. They provide the Central Ohio area a variety of products and services including: compost services for events and communities, workshops, seminars, and lessons, as well as more information so that everyone is empowered and enabled with the resources to live a zero food waste lifestyle
