First off this website is not an official website of the university or any organization at OSU. At the moment it is a student blog. The floss in the URL stands for Free Libre Open Source Software. The primary purpose of this blog as it is currently being envisioned is that it will be a regularly aka monthly or so, site that will consist of articles about free libre opensource software or floss at Ohio State. I also plan on creating a resource page that lists all of the resources and/or documentation related to using Linux at Ohio State. The primary organization I know working around floss at OSU is the Open Source Club.
