Side View: This rowing machine has now awkward handles for users, allowing them to use their feet to move forwards and backwards. The chair is about one foot in length and one foot high, with a backrest that helps improve stability during use. The machine is eight feet in length with plenty of room to push off the footrest. The chair moves back with the force and is brought back towards the footrest where this movement can then be repeated.

Top View: The top view shows how the chair of the rowing machine moves back and forth while the foot rest remains stationary.

Front/side view: Shows how the foot rest lies in front of the seat. The frame of the machine would be made out of steel with a rubber padding on the chair and handles for more comfort.

User: This shows use of the rowing machine where the user can push off the foot rest, holding onto a handle on the side of the chair. A backrest provides more stability for any user. As they push off the foot rest, the chair moves back and retracts, allowing the user to use the machine in a similar way to rowing machines with a handle to pull in front of them.
