About Me
Welcome!
I’m Angela Fisher, a first year student at the Ohio State of University. I’m studying Human Resources through the Fisher College of Business and I can’t wait for the years I will spend here. I come from a small town in Hartville, OH and a big Italian family.
Around campus you’ll find me at a coffee shop or the equestrian center because of my passion for caffeine and horses! I have my own horse, Hugo, that I compete with around the country in show jumping events! Besides horses, I also am a fan of dogs and pet them on the sidewalks of Columbus any chance I can get.
I love the business industry and I hope that my time at OSU brings me closer to filling an important role that connects people and innovation.

First Day of Class
From the day I moved in, my roommate Sophie and I hit it off! I was nervous because we had never met and I knew 2020 would be a difficult year to avoid being in the dorm a lot. Regardless, I got to learn all about her life in New York and it still amazes me that education can bring people from all across the world together.
We talked about our interests and what we could get involved in, many of them being business related since we are members of the business scholars. I got adjusted in a few short days that flew past, and before I knew it, Sophie and I were logging on for our first day of classes!
I was definitely confused by all the syllabi and I called on my older sister for guidance within the first week of classes. She helped me organize my schedule and calendar so I felt a lot more prepared going into my second week of classes. I’m so grateful to have resources like her that I can rely on to make my transition into college that much more seamless!
