What’s this site about?

Q: What’s this site for?

A: We developed this site to:

  • help you find good images
  • help you find free images
  • help you find images with open copyright
  • show you some examples of good and bad images in course design
  • organize all these great image sources

So how do you use it?

First, you should learn about copyright:

  1. Visit the OSU Copyright Resource Center.
  2.  If you’re using work for teaching and learning, learn about Fair Use.
  3.  Have questions? Contact them!

We also want you to learn about accessibility. Make sure your images work for folks who might experience the course differently. Not only does accessible design make your content easier to reach for all users, but it protects you legally. And if you want to know more about accessible design, here’s a good starting point.

Great. Get going! Jump on over to our list of where to find images.
