Artifacts

As the pledge class professional chair of my business fraternity, AKPsi, I was tasked in December 2015 to organize a professional event for the members of the fraternity. From heading the committee, picking an informative topic, communicating with high level executives, coordinating the event logistics to chairing the event, this was a significant opportunity to grow as a leader and contribute to the OSU Fisher College of Business community. The event “The Top 5 Things A Recent Business Graduate Needs To Know” included executive speakers from Microsoft, Hitachi, Nationwide and AmerisourceBergen and was a professional and personal success. Organizing this event was a meaningful opportunity in my first semester at OSU to learn, utilize and maximize my business skills

About Me

I am a Fisher Direct Business Scholar specializing in finance and marketing. I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida and graduated summa cum laude from Lyman High School where I was a captain on the football and basketball teams. As the founder and president of the Lyman Investors Club, I was able to further my interest in finance and the stock market and know that I wanted to major in business after high school. At The Ohio State University, I am an analyst in Buckeye Capital Investors and the pledge class professional chair of the Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity. I am looking forward to continuing my finance education this summer as an intern with Penta Capital, a private equity mezzanine fund.
