The to do list that I decided to work on is the Downtown list. I chose this list because, being an out of state student, I have not had much of a chance to explore Columbus yet. Through this assignment, I hope to better familiarize myself with the city that I will be calling home for at least the next few years, and experience a community that I will be a part of for a lifetime. Of all the options on the Downtown list, I am most excited to visit the Ohio Theater. I am a big fan of theater, and I have never been to a professional play, so I am very excited to attend one. So far, the only place that I have been on the list is COSI. I went to COSI with several of my friends from ENR as well as some of my suite mates. Being someone who loves science, and especially physics, I had a great time. Surprisingly, I actually learned a lot while I was there, despite many people thinking that it is for children. Although I spent several hours there, I wish that I would have been able to stay longer, so I plan to go back in the future. My favorite part of this trip was that one of the exhibits was directly related to a physics concept that was on that week’s homework. I would recommend COSI to anyone who is interested in science. I think that there is a lot that can be learned there. At the very least, COSI is a great outlet to curiosity that encourages those who go there to learn more.
