The ‘Cool Research Topic of the Day’ (abbreviated to ‘CRTOTD’ in further reference) is a pair of assigned outside research assignments assigned with the purpose of giving research groups practice with research presentations (specifically virtual research presentations). The CRTOTD topics are completely unrelated to the main biodiesel conversation research, only having the common theme of sustainability. Overall, these assignments greatly improved the group’s presentation skills, and were a contributing factor towards our successful main presentation.
